Creating Steam store pages requires bridging the gap between game development and marketing. By collaborating with developers to understand their vision, I crafted copy that accurately represented each game's mechanics, story, and tone while presenting them in a way that resonated with potential players. These Steam Community Updates showcase my ability to bridge communication between development teams and player communities. By distilling complex updates into accessible, audience-focused content, I created announcements that highlighted key features, generated excitement around releases and events, and reinforced each game's unique identity. The result was a consistent stream of engaging content designed to inform players, drive participation, and support long-term community growth. Homeseek CYOA
This interactive narrative project demonstrates my ability to extend an established brand through engaging, audience-focused storytelling. Created as a promotional experience inspired by the world of Homeseek, the branching narrative translated the game’s themes, tone, and decision-making mechanics into a standalone experience designed to deepen player engagement and generate interest in the original title. The project combined narrative design, audience retention strategy, and brand alignment, ultimately proving successful enough to be adapted into a physical promotional item distributed at major gaming conventions.
Narrative Design
Beyond marketing and copywriting, my experience in the game industry spans the full spectrum of game development and publishing. In addition to creating marketing content, managing press and influencer relations, and representing titles at industry events, I have advised development teams on narrative design, story structure, localization, pacing, and player experience. I have also written and designed my own original interactive experiences. This combination of storytelling expertise, marketing strategy, and hands-on development experience allow me to translating complex creative visions into engaging narratives that resonate with audiences.
